It is now a legal requirement to provide a Building Energy Rating
Certificate if you offer your residential property for sale or rental
on the open market.
Therefore if you have made a decision to sell or rent then you must
employ a registered BER Assessor to visit your property and carry
out a BER assessment.
This will involve a detailed examination of your residential property
where elements such as type of construction, building materials,
insulation, glazing, ventilation, heating system, heating fuel and more
will be analysed in order to provide you with the energy efficiency
and the annual CO2 emissions of the property in question.
